The most exciting game of round 45 in the KBL took place in Wonju. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placedWonju DB (29-21) to second ranked Anyang (32-17) 87-84 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Wonju DB. Anyang dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Wonju DB 's 28. Anyang looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-1996) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists for the winners and American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) with 25 points and 8 assists and the other American import center Henry Ellenson (208-1997, college: Marquette) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds. Five Anyang and four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Anyang maintains second place with 32-17 record having just two points less than leader LG Sakers. Wonju DB at the other side keeps the fourth position with 21 games lost.
